Job description

As a Release Coordinator for Catalog, you will be mainly responsible for expertly curating and delivering assets in the most effective manner. You will also oversee the entire delivery process, from asset collection to the final submission to all portals. Last but not least you will manage the digital release workflow with a primary focus on attention to detail, ensuring the quality of Label Copies, Artwork, and Masters meets the highest standards, and guaranteeing that all products are released accurately and seamlessly.  

What will you be doing?

  • Work on the optimization of catalog tracks to enhance their performance in the digital landscape; 

  • Collaborate with audio engineers and studio partners to ensure the highest audio quality for new edits, reissues and remasters; 

  • Implement metadata improvements (such as keyword tagging) to increase discoverability on streaming platforms; 

  • Monitor developments in the market and translates these into actionable processes; 

  • Monitor streams and sales based on dashboards; 

  • Maintain awareness of all catalog acquisitions and initiatives through regular updates and meetings; 

  • Timely upload of catalogue assets into appropriate platforms and systems ready for Digital teams final check and delivery; 

  • Implement legal restrictions in the practical upload specifications;

  • Coordinating and fine-tuning products with the Digital Team as needed;

  • Work in tandem supporting other members of the Catalog team.

Job requirements

Who is the person we’re looking for?

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role;

  • You are aware of the dynamics and processes within the music industry and have good knowledge of the (social) media landscape;

  • You possess excellent organisational and communicative skills and have the ability to drive forward processes within project teams;

  • You have an analytical mind and have an ambitious, decisive and a problem-solving mentality;

  • You enjoy dance music and the wider culture around it;

  • You’re in for a challenge and like dynamic working environments. You are used to working with strict deadlines, know how to prioritise and thrive under pressure;

  • You are an effective communicator and motivator,  well versed in the English language, both in speech and in writing.
