Job description

Do you have attention to detail? Would you like to use your strong administrational skills in a fun music loving company?

Then you may be a great fit, because we’re looking for a full-time Metadata Coordinator.

What will you be doing?

As our new Metadata Coordinator, you will be part of our Digital department and (jointly) responsible for the digital distribution of all of our releases and catalogue. To ensure that people are able to listen to our music on Digital Service Providers (DSPs) such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple, Beatport and Amazon, you will make sure these releases are correctly administered and uploaded to music streaming services.  Among other challenges, you will:

  • Enter metadata (writer credits, ISRC and barcodes, track specifics like genres) and create so-called label copies;

  • Data preparation and quality control, prepare releases before upload, process bulk catalog uploads and complete metadata overviews;

  • Make sure release schedules are complete and contain all the relevant links and information;

  • Double checking releases are live on DSP’s in the correct way and shape;

  • Proactively come up with ideas to improve our digital distribution setup and get our music distributed in the smartest and most time efficient way;

  • Supporting other distribution operations processes and contributing ideas for improvement.

Job requirements

Who we are looking for:

  • You’ve acquired a college degree and have relevant experience of working with music metadata and with a supply chain platform like FUGA;

  • Excellent Excel proficiency skills;

  • You are passionate about dance music and are well acquainted with – and an active user of – music streaming services;

  • You are able to work accurately, meticulously (with great attention to details), efficiently and independently;

  • You thrive under pressure;

  • You are perfectly fluent in English;

  • You live in or around Amsterdam or London.

    Bonus points will be awarded to candidates with:

  • Experience with mixing dance tracks and using audio editing software (Ableton etc.).

What do you get in return?

At Armada Music, you’ll be pursuing your passion on an international scale. Calling an inspiring and musical environment home, you’ll bump fists with a young and dynamic team of skilled coworkers. We offer 25 days off per year to force you to miss us every once in a while and an appealing pension scheme for when we finally decide to grow up. O, and we’ll pay you. There’s that too, of course.
