What will you be doing?
As Armada Music’s new International Licence Manager, you engage in pitching, discussing, and negotiating with potential label partners seeking to license Armada Music’s tracks maximizing the music catalog’s value through formal agreement for diverse contexts and locations. This means you’ll be working closely not only with various departments within the company, but also with international partners.
Among other challenges, you will...
...maintain communication with existing license partners, providing regular updates about release developments;
...identify potential partners and negotiate license deals;
...proactively explore opportunities for Armada’s international exploitation;
...represent Armada at events, scheduling meetings with potential license partners;
...align release planning with the A&R and Marketing teams and integrate into Armada Music’s release schedule;
...develop release strategies for short and long term operational results in collaboration with other teams;
...build relationships with key international industry figures and keep them informed about Armada Music’s releases.
Job requirements
What does the chosen one look like?
You are a dance-music-minded navigator living in or around Amsterdam. You know how the industry flows, how to sidestep its pitfalls and where the opportunities lie.
You’ve acquired a relevant bachelor’s degree;
You have one or two years of experience in project management within the music/entertainment industry;
You are punctual, organized and efficient when it comes to creating schedules and plans;
You are creative and a real team player;
You are used to working with strict deadlines and thrive under pressure;
You are on top of and an active user of all forms of music consumption and social media (and its most recent developments);
You are analytical, ambitious, decisive and a problem solver;
You are fluent in written and spoken English.
You (preferably) live in or near Amsterdam, the Netherlands or you are willing to move there;
Bonus points will be awarded to candidates who are also fluent in written and spoken Dutch.
