As a DIGITAL MARKETING EXECUTIVE, you will be mainly responsible for the co-ordination and execution of digital marketing strategies for release campaigns within the U.K. territory. You will work closely with the Marketing, Digital Campaigns, Product, A&R, Promotion and Social Media teams to promote our music in the U.K. market through all channels of Armada Music and beyond.


What will you be doing (exactly)?

  • You will execute digital marketing campaigns across our roster of artists and releases, working collaboratively under the strategic leadership of the UK Marketing Manager, and alongside the Product Manager to deliver creative, cutting edge and engaging digital content and narratives that resonate directly with fans and drive streaming;
  • You will collaborate and at times lead discussions with artist management and/or other representatives to create and optimise the best possible social and online timelines for release campaigns and see digital marketing initiatives from concept to delivery;
  • You will build and maintain relationships with relevant creators, influencers, genre accounts, meme pages and agencies in the short-form content space, to help creatively promote our songs and artists;
  • You will have an understanding of social community spaces and accounts in relevant dance genres, including trance, house, garage, drum and bass and commercial crossover genres, as well as lifestyle accounts associated with dance audience behaviors;
  • You will monitor and understand cultural trends on social media, ensuring that Armada and our artists are best utilising social media to promote our records and more on platforms;
  • You will have a detailed understanding of social media strategies and opportunities across key platforms which can be incorporated into marketing campaigns, including the use of community functions, tagging, algorithmic optimization and more to best drive consumption of our content;
  • You will ensure that digital strategies are aligned with interests of multiple stakeholders whilst still achieving campaign KPIs, creating campaigns that benefit all parties;
  • You will monitor the performance of timestamps, sped up, slowed down and other alternative versions on social platforms, checking data for break-out successes and amending strategies and uploads where needed;
  • You will constantly research and consider new technologies that may be applicable to our campaigns, reporting back to the wider Marketing and Digital teams within Armada;
  • You will build and implement a digital growth and data strategy in key international markets; capturing, analysing and utilising social and DSP data and applying it to overall artist and campaign strategies;
  • You will manage strategic partnerships and relationships with digital platforms important to our artists (TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Soundcloud and more);
  • You will work closely with the Product Manager UK to collaboratively manage the end to end content creation process and delivery for social and online content, liaising with the Marketing Manager, our in-house Creative team and third-party agencies;
  • You will build and maintain relationships with 3rd party playlist accounts and networks, to help support our tracks on relevant DSPs;
  • You will have an interest in long-form content forms and channels, including how to leverage these in our campaigns, including podcasts, roundtable discussions, genre explorations, serialized content, track dissection content and more;
  • You will critically assess data post campaign to ensure learnings are taken forward for future campaigns and inform our strategies moving forward.

Job requirements

Who is the person we’re looking for?

  • You have relevant experience in a similar role with a substantial track record in online/digital marketing;
  • You have knowledge of the inner workings of the UK music industry and an affinity for electronic music;
  • You (preferably) will have a relevant network within the UK (dance) music industry and are familiar with the key players and brands in the UK dance scene;
  • You have a passion for nightlife; dance culture and trends;
  • You have a good understanding of the factors that drive music consumption and know what buttons to push;
  • You have an in depth understanding of how to optimise digital marketing through a release timeline - across multiple moments both physical and digital - to maximise not just attention and ‘consumers’ but identify and nurture true fans;
  • Online media excites you and you are always clued up on its most recent developments;
  • You are a problem solver; excited by challenges and with a can-do approach to getting results;
  • You possess excellent organizational and communicative skills and have the ability to drive processes forward within project teams;
  • You have relationships with digital platforms and partners (including but not limited to TikTok, Meta, Soundcloud, YouTube) and are keen to grow these further;
  • You are used to working with strict deadlines, know how to prioritise and thrive under pressure;
  • You live in or near London; this is an office based role.
  • You are well versed in the English language, both in speech and in writing.
