Copyright Assistant

As the Copyright Assistant you will support the Creative andmCopyright teams in tasks related to keeping track and processing new musical works, registration of relevant information, as well as assisting with organizing events, sharing updates about the company and supporting with office management tasks. You will work on administration tasks as well as stay in touch with different internal and external stakeholders and help them with any questions they have.

What will you be doing?

• You register repertoire and copyright information in the system, and communicate about changes to the relevant teams and external stakeholders;
• You act as a link between Creative, Legal and Copyright teams as well as external clients;
• You respond to administrative and operational queries from songwriters;
• You inform internal and external stakeholders of new releases on weekly basis;
• You support with income tracking and on-boarding new songwriters;
• You manage website updates, mail-outs and posting on social media channels of Armada Music Publishing;
• You support the Creative team with the organization of events and studio sessions;
• You maintain charts and playlists based on new releases.

Who are we looking for?

• You acquired a relevant degree, at least ‘HBO’ (Dutch standard) or bachelor’s degree;
• You have at least one or two years of experience in an administrative role;
• You have experience working with data and are accurate;
• You understand the inner workings of the music industry and have an affinity for electronic music;
• You promote a positive attitude both internally and externally and you have strong communication skills;
• You are flexible, punctual and organized;
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, Dutch is a big plus.
