Job description
As a Marketing Analytics Intern at Armada Music, you’ll work closely with our Analytics & Insights and Marketing teams to support data-driven marketing strategies across the company. You'll help analyse streaming and social media trends, campaign performance, audience segmentation, and budget efficiency to optimize our marketing efforts. This internship is perfect for someone passionate about both data and music, eager to gain hands-on experience in the intersection of marketing and analytics in the eletronic music industry.
What You’ll Do
Track and analyse marketing campaign performance across streaming platforms, social media, and digital advertising to measure effectiveness.
Monitor social media trends to identify viral moments, audience engagement opportunities, and emerging marketing strategies.
Conduct competitor benchmarking to assess Armada artists' positioning in the industry.
Develop audience insights, segmenting key listener demographics and conducting research to tailor promotional strategies.
Support budget optimization efforts, using data insights to improve targeting strategies and marketing mix modelling approaches.
Present insights through data visualization and storytelling, providing actionable recommendations for the Analytics & Insights, Marketing and A&R teams.
Job requirements
Who You Are
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Proficient in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret marketing data and optimize campaigns.
Comfortable working with large datasets and extracting insights from streaming, social media, and ad performance metrics.
Passionate about the music industry and digital marketing.
Based in (or within reasonable travel distance to) Amsterdam.
Available as of April 2025 and enrolled in a Dutch university for the duration of the internship.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with SQL and Python for data analysis and automation.
Understanding of music industry data sources (Spotify for Artists, Chartmetric, Meta Ads, or Google Analytics).
Familiarity with API integrations for marketing analytics and data extraction.
